ASUE Students Visited ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank

The 1st year Master’s degree students of accounting specialty summed up the acquired knowledge within the frames of “Banking Accountability Issues” course at the “ Nor Avan” innovative branch of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank.

On May 13, Armen Hakobyan, the lecturer, Associate Professor of the Chair of Financial Accounting, Doctor of Sciences, Chief Accountant of the mentioned Bank, initiated students’ visit, they attended lecture entitled “Innovative Banking Technology Registration Features”, then got acquainted with the Bank’s innovative technologies and applied to their University knowledge.

While being interviewed Armen Hakobyan stated that the future accountants spent more than 4 hours in the Bank, enriched both theoretical and practical skills. Particularly, they have seen how payment and settlement, credit and deposit operations, documentation and general banking business are implemented.

Maria Shirinyan, the Branch Director, presented the working directions, structure and a number of issues arising from the Bank activity, and awarded souvenirs to students.
