Female tennis players from ASUE will take part in the European University Games

From July 12 to 24, 2024, the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) women's table tennis team will compete in the European University Games, organized by the European University Sports Association. The events will take place in Debrecen and Miskolc, Hungary. The ASUE team will be supervised by Coach Mesrop Ghukasyan, who is also the coach of the Republic of Armenia's national table tennis team and a lecturer of the Chair of Physical Education, Emergency Situations, and Civil Defense at ASUE. On July 18, under the guidance of Coach Mesrop Ghukasyan, ASUE student Mane Ghazaryan and the student from ASUE College of Finance and Economics Asya Poghosyan, along with Rima Khlghatyan, the winner of the RA student games, will depart for Hungary as part of the team.

Hovhannes Gabrielyan, President of the Student Sports Federation of Armenia and Head of the Chair of Physical Education, Emergency Situations, and Civil Protection at ASUE, pointed out that the female tennis players demonstrate a strong sense of sportsmanship and a determined spirit of victory.
