Final session of the ASUE Scientific Council was convened

On July 4, the final session of the ASUE Scientific Council for the 2023/2024 academic year was held under the leadership of Armen Grigoryan, Acting Rector of ASUE and Chairman of the Scientific Council. At the beginning of the session, upon the suggestion of the head of the university, the report of the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit of ASUE was added to the agenda and approved.

The first item, concerning a change in the composition of the publishing committee attached to the ASUE Scientific Council, was introduced by Armen Grigoryan and received further approval.

Subsequently, Meri Badalyan, a member of the competition committee attached to the Scientific Council, introduced the matter of awarding the academic title of Associate Professor. In a closed secret ballot, the Scientific Council awarded the academic title of Associate Professor to PhD Arpine Sargsyan, a lecturer of the Chair of General Economics and Natural Sciences at ASUE Gyumri branch.

Mary Badalyan, Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit, presented the results of the faculty's activities for the 2023/2024 academic year. Among the achievements, the Dean underlined the international accreditation of one bachelor’s and one master’s educational degree programs within the faculty.

Armen Grigoryan expressed his gratitude to the Scientific Council, the university staff, and the students, underlining that the accreditation of several programs at the university is a significant achievement, to which all ASUE students have made substantial contributions. He pointed out that these accomplishments necessitate continuous effort, development, and consistent progress to maintain ASUE's competitive position and strengthen its reputation.

Tatul Mkrtchyan, Vice-Rector for Science, presented the final item on the agenda of the Scientific Council regarding the reconfirmation of PhD candidates and the scientific supervisors for applicants' dissertations. The Scientific Council approved this matter.
