ASUE professors as the winners and the prize winner of the "Best finance and banking publication of the year" competition

On May 12, the "Best finance and banking publication of the year" competition was held at the Union of Armenian Banks. The jury, which included representatives of Armenian banks, determined the best publications at the end of 2022 in three categories: "Best Scientific Article", "Best Analytics" and "Best Journalistic Content".

The work of the Associate Professor of the Department of Finance of the Armenian State University of Economics, PhD. in Economics Edgar Aghabekyan was recognized as the best analytics. In the nomination "Best Scientific Article" the winners were the post-graduate student of the Department of Management Accounting and Audit of the Armenian State University of Economics Armen Hambardzumyan and the student of the Department of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Yerevan State University Mesrop Mesropyan, who presented the scientific article on: "Supervisory stress testing as a new financial risk management tool for Armenian commercial banks”.

The article "Effects of exchange rate instability and economic crises in the Russian Federation on the RA economy" by Hayk Bejanyan and Narek Karapetyan, experts of ASUE "Amberd" Research Center, PhDs in Economics, was awarded an incentive prize by commercial banks.

All the winners were awarded with gifts and certificates by the Union of Banks of Armenia.
