Chevening: the opportunities to study in UK with scholarships

Deputy Head of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia Alison Chick and Political Officer of the Embassy Mariam Baghdasaryan were hosted at ASUE to present the Chevening Scholarship Program. Vice Rector of Science and International Relations Gagik Vardanyan, head of the Chair of International Economic Relations, Professor Diana Galoyan, Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, Doctor of Sciences (Political Science) Vardan Atoyan, head of Foreign Relations Division Vard Ghukasyan participated in the presentation of the scholarship program.
The scholarship program interested bachelor’s and master’s students. Vice-rector Gagik Vardanyan welcomed the guests, underlining that the program was important for the exchange of international educational experience, as well as in terms of cultural communication.
Deputy Head of the Embassy Alison Chick thanked for warm hospitality, noting that UK has been implementing the Chevening program since 1995, providing students with an exceptional opportunity. She hoped that the cooperation with the ASUE would be continuous. Mariam Baghdasaryan presented the details of the scholarship program. She also mentioned that the UK government annually provided Armenian students with scholarships giving them opportunity to study Master's degree program in UK.
