Transformations in Public Relations sphere: lectured the invited specialist
Siranush Gyurjinyan, head of the external communications and media department of Rostelecom, one of the leading telecommunication operators in Armenia, hosted the 2nd year Master’s degree students of Marketing Research and Communications specialization within the frames of "PR and Media Economics" course. Thus, the initiative of Lilit Dadayan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Marketing, PhD in Economics, to organize meetings with the heads and representatives of public and informational divisions of different organizations is an effective and interesting process. Siranush Gyurjinyan lectured on "PR Transformation", highlighted the transformations practiced in the field of telecommunications and public relations, mentioning PR tools and processes used before the revolution and after the revolution. She also talked about the use of most up-to-date marketing tools in social networks, television (which enters the online field), informational technology transformation that takes place in the changing and developing industry.
The lecturer conducted a lively dialogue with students and acquainted with the interests and mentality of students. By the way, Siranush Gyurjinyan has graduated from our University.
Note, that first meeting within the frames of "PR and Media Economics" course was organized with the head of the ASUE Media and Public Relations Division, Editor in Chief of "Tntesaget" Magazine Gohar Gevorgyan, journalist Nane Avanesyan and photographer Razmik Khachatryan.
