Workshop within the HERITAG program

A three-day workshop took place at Goris State University on May 14-16 on "New Teaching Methods" within the within the framework of EU Erasmus+ “Higher Education Interdisciplinary Reform in Tourism Management and Applied Geoinformation Curricula” project (HERITAG) (“HERITAG”, №561555-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). Paruir Kalantaryan, Vice Rector of Educational-methodological Matters and Nerses Gevorgyan, Head of Quality Assurance Division participated at the workshop. He made a talk on "Project Based Teaching Methods". Geo-Information Systems Lab was opened at the Goris State University on the first day of the workshop. Oscar Morant, Professor at the Chair of Innovations of the Polytechnic University of Valencia Gandia branch, who also headed the structural unit of IDEAAS UPV, lectured on "Business Planning and Startup Management".

Second part of the workshop was held at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia on May 17, where Oscar Morant had a lecture. Later the HERITAG project coordinator Luis Angel Ruiz Fernandez presented the joint Master's Program on "Project Management" in tourism, cultural heritage management and geo-information systems for future applicants.

Nerses Gevorgyan, Head of Quality Assurance Division, Maria Petrosyan and Ani Baghdasaryan as well as "Project Management" joint Master's program students participated in the meeting held at NUACA.
