Cooperation with IT Sector: ASUE and "Digitain" Signed a Memorandum

Digitain, one of Armenia's leading IT companies, hosted representatives of the Armenian State University of Economics, as well as a number of other Universities last week. Harutyun Vardanyan, the Director of Digitain company, introduced the company's mission, perspectives, issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Then ASUE and Digitain signed memorandum of understanding, which is aimed at increasing the role of cooperation and partnership in the field of students' education, specialization and business level.

ASUE and Digitain will carry out joint events, enabling ASUE students to hold educational and research internships in the company. The partnership will also support young professionals in finding work, as well as promote regular contacts between students and leading professionals in the field. It is planned to hold lectures, seminars, round tables and other events on topics of mutual interest.

Harutyun Vardanyan stressed the need to establish and strengthen ties between the private sector and Universities. During the constructive discussion with Lusine Danielyan, it was decided to expand the cooperation, to introduce other measures aimed at improving educational programs and their application at the business level.

The guests had the opportunity to walk around the company, to see the working environment of the organization and the programs being carried out.
