ASUE Members were Donated to the Bone Marrow Donor Registry

Today, a group of representatives of ASUE Faculty, staff and students joined to thousands of people who volunteered to donate to the “Bone Marrow Donor Registry” charity foundation created for the salvation and treatment of children’s life suffering from leukemia and other blood diseases in Armenia.

Sevak Avagyan, Executive Director, Zara Hovhannisyan, the responsible for the office, employee who organized the ASUE’s donation were hosted at our University.

Before donating blood, the volunteers got acquainted with the donorship process, listened to the organizers, the keyword of the charitable initiative. The first donors were the representatives of the Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, ASUE Deans and collaborators, then the students joined.

Sevak Avagyan told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that the mission of the foundation is to create a comprehensive donor base that would help to save lives.
