Election of deans took place at the session of the Scientific Council

On November 30, the Scientific Council of the Armenian State University of Economics held a regular session headed by ASUE Rector, President of the Scientific Council Diana Galoyan.

ASUE Rector and the Chairperson of the Competition Commission Ara Mkrtchyan presented the first item on the agenda, namely, competition for the vacant position of ASUE faculty deans. Afterwards, the candidates for the position of deans (Faculty of Management and Faculty of Accounting and Audit), acting deans Manuk Movsisyan and Mary Badalyan introduced the 5-year development plans.

Scientific Council members highly appreciated the professional, managerial and human qualities of the two candidates participating in the competition followed by the election. The Scientific Council elected Manuk Movsisyan as the dean of the Faculty of Management, and Mary Badalyan as the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit.

Armen Grigoryan, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, presented the results of the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

At the end of the session, the Scientific Council guaranteed the publication of the educational course-book "Sustainable Development Accounting", co-authored by Head of ASUE Chair of Management Accounting and Audit, Doctor of Economics, Professor Liana Grigoryan and Doctor of Economics, Professor Armen Tshughuryan.
