The EL Fellow English educational program continues at ASUE
On April 3, Armen Grigoryan, acting rector of ASUE, received John Silver, the officer responsible for English of the US Embassy in Armenia, and Hasmik Mikayelyan, a specialist in cultural and educational programs. The meeting was attended by Lusine Danielyan, Director of ASUE External Relations Department, and Lusine Harutyunyan, Head of ASUE Chair of Languages.
The primary goal of their visit was to discuss the current and upcoming issues of the English Language Fellow (EL Fellow) program launched at our university in September2023. From the new academic year, the second EL Fellow program will start at ASUE.
Armen Grigoryan welcomed the guests and highlighted ASUE's continuous participation in the English language educational program organized by the US Department of State, and pointed out that, in the current process of reforms, the University of Economics attaches great importance to the teaching of foreign languages and the ongoing transfer of language skills.
Hasmik Mikayelyan expressed her gratitude to the university leadership and the colleagues present at the meeting for their reception, implementation of the project and mutual cooperation followed by the introduction of the details of the project.
