The first project meeting in Armenia took place within the framework of “Widening opportunities for research collaborations” project
On October 18-20, within the framework of the “Widening opportunities for research collaborations” project implemented at the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), the first meeting in Armenia took place. The meeting started at ASUE, the coordinators of the project, representatives of the Linköping University (Sweden), partners of the project, representatives of the Comrat State University (Moldova) and National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) participated.
ASUE rector Diana Galoyan, coordinator of the project, Linköping University professor Janerik Lundquist, as well as Vice-rector for science and international relations of the Comrat State University Tatiana Rakovtsena welcomed the participants. Linköping University professor Svjetlana Stekovic presented the Swedish experience of research internationalization, Director of the External Affairs Department Lusine Danielyan presented the process of ASUE’s research internationalization.
At the end of the meeting, Gayane Tovmasyan, ASUE expert for the project, researcher of ASUE’s "Amberd" research center, Alla Levitskaya, professor of Comrat State University, and Kristine Khachatryan, Head of the scientific policy development and management department of NUACA, presented the incentive policy developed within the framework of the project.
The second working meeting took place in the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA). The three-day event was concluded on October 20, at the meeting held at ASUE.
The aim of the project is to increase skills and knowledge of the university decision-makers, research unit managers regarding management of research internationalization process and activities under the supervision of the Linkoping University (Sweden), as well as to develop well-structured legislative framework and its operationalization guidelines for managing research internationalization based on the Swedish experience.
The partners of the project are Linkoping University (project coordinator, Sweden), Armenian State University of Economics, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) and Comrat State University (Moldova).
