ASUE Hosted FAST Foundation Admission Test

On January 14, the admission test for the "Unit 1991" training course was conducted at the Armenian State University of Economics. Nearly 400 young men (17-23-year-old), to be conscripted this summer, have applied for the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence training course organized by FAST.

The intensive training course aims to provide future conscripts with additional knowledge in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence for them to become more qualified to serve in the “Unit 1991”. FAST, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Hi-Tech Cybersecurity Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create the “Unit 1991” in September 2019. Highly skilled soldiers of this unique unit will focus on cutting-edge technology to perform of strategic and tactical tasks that are high-in-demand for the Armenian Armed Forces.
