"More About You": Self-disclosure at FEEDBACK Interuniversity Conference

On April 6-7, FEEDBACK interuniversity conference conducted by Student Council was held, which united students of state and non-state 8 universities of the RA under “More About You” heading. Here are the participant universities: Armenian State University of Economics, Yerevan State University, Armenian–Russian, American University in Armenia, Armenian State Pedagogical University, Armenian National Polytechnic University, ASUE Financial and Economic College with 40 students.
ASUE acting Rector Ruben Hayrapetyan, SC President Hovhannes Harutyunyan, President of SC Committee of External Affairs Iren Talalyan warmly welcomed the participants with the willingness to learn, motivate and reveal potential.
First, ASUE Head spoke about the necessity of developing a strategic thinking, highlighting the stages of formulating goals, drawing up and implementing plans. The Rector highly appreciated the SC initiatives contributing to the development of students creative thinking, skills, and informal education.
During the two-day-workshop, the students listened to the experts’, specialists' reports on communication, self-actualization, applying to the employer, seeking to success, innovation, thinking and behavior.
Assistant Professor of the Chair of Marketing Grisha Amirkhanyan and Master’s degree student Roza Grigoryan reported on respectively “Failure Means Not to Try”, “Your Skills as Success Business Card”.
Marketing specialist, founder of Global Media Lab marketing company Seda Vardanyan, psychologist-trainers Ashkhen Mkoyan and Lilit Amirshadyan also presented reported on various topics guiding students to self-awareness, revealing their strengths and weaknesses.
“Students have left with bright impressions, with great enthusiasm and, undoubtedly, armed with knowledge. Therefore, we consider the ultimate goal of this event fulfilled"; Hovhannes Harutyunyan stated, summing up the outcomes of the workshop.
All attendees were awarded certificates, while four outstanding activists: Merina Mlhumyan, Aram Harutyunyan, Irena Hakobyan and Hasmik Frangyan were awarded prizes.
