ASUE Developed Model Law, Won in CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly, is Being Implemented

Today, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan hosted Natalia Amburtseva, Advisor, Expert Analytical Department, Secretary of the Commission, who visited our University accompanied by Mikael Melkumyan, Head of ASUE Chair of Microeconomics, Doctor of Sciences, Professor. The meeting was also attended by Lusine Danielyan, Director of External Relations Department.

Let’s recall, on September 10, the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Nature Protection of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly, which develops various model laws for the CIS countries, approved the application of the model law on "Assessing the Impact of Mining Activities on the Health of the Population of the Affected (Environmental) Communities” presented by ASUE, the working team of which is headed by Professor Mikayel Melkumyan.

ASUE Rector welcomed the guest, presented the University of Economics, infrastructures, a wide range of specialties, implemented programs, and also emphasized that the University of Economics is open for cooperation, and ASUE staff is flexible and creative in its approach to work, presenting different ideas. Diana Galoyan also stressed that in recent years ASUE cooperation with universities of CIS countries has greatly intensified, there is a great potential for interaction here.

Natalia Amburtseva thanked for the hospitality, mentioned that she would make every possible effort to carry out effective work with ASUE.
