"Golden Seeds" Award in Memory of Artsakh Hero David Grigoryan Presented to ASUE Graduate Students
Two ASUE graduate students received the "Golden Seeds" Educational Award, dedicated to the memory of Artsakh hero and "Golden Eagle" medalist, ASUE Finance Faculty student David Grigoryan. The recipients are second-year MA students Eliza Matevosyan and Ophelia Hakobyan.
The certificates for the winners of the "Golden Seeds: Gratitude and Respect Educational Awards" competition, announced by ASUE and the "Hay Dzmer Pap" Charitable Foundation, were presented by ASUE Rector Armen Grigoryan and Susan Avagyan, David Grigoryan’s mother.
The "Golden Seeds" Educational Award, in memory of David Grigoryan, is administered by the "Hay Dzmer Pap" Charitable Foundation and the Armenian State University of Economics, with funding from the Grigoryan family.
While handing over the certificates, ASUE Rector Armen Grigoryan expressed gratitude to the hero’s mother, stating: “David Grigoryan chose victory and won, securing our right to be here. You, as parents, have chosen to honor David’s name through knowledge after such a great loss, for which we are deeply thankful.” In recognition of their commitment to valuing knowledge and education, the university leadership also presented a certificate of appreciation to David’s parents, Lyova Grigoryan and Susan Avagyan.
Armine Petrosyan, Director of the "Hay Dzmer Pap" Foundation, thanked the university leadership for the warm reception. She mentioned that they collaborate with five universities and are confident that the young people who receive this award truly embody "golden seeds," making the award all the more precious and heartfelt. Armine Petrosyan also shared touching excerpts from the motivation letters submitted by all seven applicants at ASUE.
