Interfaculty Cooperation: Open Lecture on Prospects of Digital Currencies
Today, Ani Yeghoyan, the 4th year student of finance specialty, reported on digital currencies for the 5th year students of management specialty within the frame s of “International Economic Relations” course. She works as an accountant and is interested in bitcoins. Karmen Grigoryan, the organizer of the lecture, Assistant Professor at the Chair of International Economic Relations, PhD in Economics, stated that the students had chosen the topic. She drew attention on the fact that this initiative is a good example of interfaculty cooperation.
Ani Yeghoyan spoke about blockchain, mining concepts, prospects for expansion of bitcoin use, risks. Part of the report was about the position of the leaders of the leading countries on digital currencies.
The student-speaker gave comprehensive answers to the questions of the students.
