Working Discussion within MINERVA Project

Working discussion within the frames of “Strengthening Research Management and Open Science Capacities Of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia (MINERVA) 2019-2022” project was held at Yerevan State Medical University, which was attended by Tatul Mkrtchyan, Vice Rector for Science, Nerses Gevorgyan, Head of Quality Assurance Division, Yevgenya Bazinyan, Head of PhD Division, Davit Khurshudyan, collaborator of Electronic Equipment Maintenance and Software Division.

Yevgenya Bazinyan told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that during the meeting, each participant of the project presented his/her work, clarified what they had to do while participating in the project. Mutual visits aimed at getting to know the resources of the project participants, their positions on the project, the work done, and discussing short and long term plans and implementation procedures are among the upcoming activities.

“It should be noted that the project participant – Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences organized a two-day conference in collaboration with EIFL international organization (project partner) at their University at the end of September, which was dedicated to the issues of Open Science policy development in Armenia. Irina Kuchma, the project coordinator and trainer held it”; Yevgenya Bazinyan added.

Let’s recall, Armenian State University of Economics is a participant of “Strengthening Research Management and Open Science Capacities Of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia (MINERVA) 2019-2022” project.

The project aimed at creating and strengthening technical and content infrastructure in the field of research, introduction of a program fighting against plagiarism and academic ethics, research base creation and introduction. The project is implemented in Moldova and Armenia. Here are the project participants: the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Republic of Armenia (MOES), Yerevan State University (YSU), Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences (YSULS) and Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU).
