ASUE Associate Professor Lectured at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula and Submitted Article to the Scientific Journal of the Croatian University

On October 7-11, Arsen Petrosyan, ASUE lector, Associate Professor at the Chair Theory of Economics, was hosted at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Croatia. He lectured on “The Peculiarity of the Monetary Policy Transfer Mechanism” for international groups of Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees.

Arsen Petrosyan noted that he drew the foreign students’ attention to the strategies of money aggregators and inflation targeting, transfer rate and financial accelerator. The students were interested in the banking system of the Republic of Armenia, the supervisory function of the Central Bank of Armenia, the comparative analysis of the policies of the central banks of Armenia and Croatia was done.

As a result of the visit new cooperation has been established: Arsen Petrosyan met Dean Sinkovich, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, and they discussed the issue of publishing articles in scientific journals of both Universities. Thus, our lector has already submitted an article to be published in the Croatian University Magazine, which deals with the issues of structural modernization of the Armenian economy, in particular, the prospects of developing branches of science. It is also expected that the articles of the partner University scientists will be published in “Messenger of ASUE”.
