ASUE "Accounting and Taxation" educational program has been granted international accreditation
We are pleased to announce that the Armenian State University of Economics has achieved a significant milestone. Our university's "Accounting and Taxation (by sector)" educational program has received international accreditation from ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
ASUE stands out as the first university in the Republic of Armenia to undertake a comprehensive revision of the "Accounting and Taxation" educational program in alignment with the educational standards set by the International Federation of Accountants. This accomplishment underlines our commitment to advancing professional education and international recognition within the frames of Armenian universities.
According to Doctor of Economics, Professor Hayk Mnatsakanyan, Head of ASUE Chair of Financial Accounting, our university has pursued international ACCA accreditation for the "Accounting and Taxation" educational program as part of our development strategy to enhance high quality education and international competitiveness. After a rigorous process, ACCA has granted international accreditation to ASUE "Accounting and Taxation (by sector)" educational program within the Bachelor's degree program of "Accounting and Taxation."
Head of the Chair has also clarified that ASUE graduates (from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2028) in the mentioned program will be exempted from four exams when applying for the ACCA international qualification.
