International visits to ASUE under the Erasmus+ program

ASUE within the frames of Erasmus+ program, from June 13 to July 1 hosted representatives of academic staff and leadership of European partner universities from Gdansk, Varna and Democritus.

Lecturers from Gdansk University (Poland) Magdalena Mosionek-Schveda and Anna Goleevska were at our university on June 13-17. They participated in roundtable discussion on ”EU investment package for Armenia” and “The EU and the EEU: Between Conflict and Competition, Convergence and Cooperation (EUCON)” programs within the frames of Jean Monnet Module, and in their speeches they attached importance to the role of the RA in relationships between the EU and the EEU.

On June 20-24 head of the International Relations Division of University of Economics of Varna Yevgeni Raychev was at our university and had a work meeting with the head of the International Relations Division of ASUE Anzhelika Musayelyan, developed cooperation programs, and the employee of the division Sona Aghababyan introduced the presentation on Armenia and ASUE. Yevgeni Raychev has also met the employees of fundraising division and discussed future cooperation issues.

Visit of the lecturers from Democritus University of Thrace Gogas Periklis and Teofilos Papadimistrius from June 27 to July 1 was also constructive and cooperative. The guests have lectured for the academic staff of ASUE Faculty of Computer Science and Statistics on “Machine Learning and Complex Networks”, “Banking Supervision with the T-MDS: a new methodology for optimization of Economics Networks, Assessing the resilience of the U.S. Banking System”.

Representatives of partner universities had work meetings with the director of ASUE External Affairs, head of International Relations Division Anzhelika Musayelyan and agreed to activate the mobility of students and academic staff exchange within the frames of Erasmus+ program, implementation of joint researches, developing the international programs and expansion of partnership between the universities.

The guests walked around Amberd Research Center, ASUE Library, and buildings of the university.
