Internationalization, rest in the sport-health resort, reduction of tuition fee at college and other issues at the year-end session of Scientific Board

A year-end session of ASUE Scientific Board was held at ASUE Conference Hall, headed by Koryun Atoyan, Chairman of Scientific Board, Rector, Professor.
Vard Ghukasyan, head of Foreign Relations Division, reported on the ASUE international activity and problems emphasizing that the international activity of the University was implemented according the 2016-2020 Strategic Development Plan of the University. The difficulties and problems on the way of internalization were also touched upon and solutions were presented. Paruyr Kalantaryan, Vice-Rector on Educational-Methodological Matters, praised the work of the division. Scientific Board approved the done work stating that internationalization was one of the most important components of the strategic development of the universities.
Sevak Khachatryan, Vice Rector on Students and Alumni Affairs, reported on organizing students’ and collaborators’ summer rest in “Tntesaget” sport-health resort in Dilijan. He informed that repair and restoration works had been done at the sport-health resort and it was ready to host vacationers. Scientific Board decided to provide free tickets to university staff, students of Artsakh State University with high advancement as well as students of ASUE College of Finance and Economics. The procedure and criteria for providing free tickets will be discussed soon. We will inform you.
Paruyr Kalantaryan, Vice-Rector on Educational-Methodological Matters, presented the regulation for awarding ASUE honorary titles, which was confirmed. Later he reported on the working plan for 2018-2019 academic year. This decision was also approved.
Vice-Rector Paruyr Kalantaryan also reported on the reduction of the tuition fees of ASUE College of Finance and Economics. Instead of the former 250,000 AMD reduce to 200,000 for some specialties and 220,000 AMD for the others. The offer was approved.
Gagik Vardanyan, Vice Rector of Science and International Relations, presented teaching aid which was approved to publication.
