Within the frames of cooperation between ASUE and KPMG Armenia, company representatives held a series of free three-day courses for ASUE students and master students on March 21-23, and today about 7 dozen participants have received their certificates.

Welcoming the participants, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan pointed out that the process of training, qualification development, and knowledge enhancement should be continuous for each ASUE student and expressed hope that such series of courses will build a new path for many students.

"I think that the professional knowledge you get at the University of Economics should be blended with practical skills provided by informal education. KPMG gives you that opportunity, which will open new prospects for your professional development. I am also sure that the University of Economics will continue its cooperation with KPMG within the frames of other projects as well," the rector pointed out.

Within the frames of the three-day courses, the lectures of company director Davit Shamshyan, senior consultant Sevak Manukyan, and senior manager Shoghik Gharibyan referred the main aspects of financial reporting, statements and audit, corporate finance and organization evaluation, as well as tax legislation.

At the end, participants have completed a test, based on the results of which they will get an opportunity to get internship or employment at KPMG Armenia.
