Lecture Within the Frames of EUCON Project

Today, Vahan Zakaryan, Attaché of the European Union Division of the European Department of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, lectured within the frames EUCON project for Master’s degree students of international economic relations specialty.

First, the speaker presented the history and institutional structure of the European Union, then touched upon all the directions of the RA-EU relations, in particular, the Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement.

Vahan Zakaryan spoke about all the achievements that Armenia has made as a result of cooperation with the European Union and at the end of the lecture, he answered the students' questions, which ranged from education issues to visa liberalization and the choice of coronavirus vaccine.

The event was attended by Anzhelika Musayelyan, Head of the International Relations Division, Tatevik Vardanyan, Head of Labor Market and Alumni Affairs Division, Albert Hayrapetyan and Susanna Aghajanyan, Assistant Professors at the Chair of International Economic Relations, PhDs in Economics. The latter hold the course "EU, EAEU and the RA Choice" in the 1st year of the Master's degree, and are involved in the above-mentioned project.
