Monetary Policy in the RA Neighboring Countries: ASUE Scientific-educational Laboratory’s Study

Today,“Monitory Policy  and Economic Growth” scientific-educational laboratory gave  a  seminar on "Study of Monetary Policy in the Neighboring Countries and IMF Assessments (Georgia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey)" at ASUE Hall of International Projects, which  was  attended  by Gagik Vardanyan, Vice Rector  of Science  and International Relations, Deans, Chairs, representatives  of academic staff, Heads and researchers  of  scientific-educational laboratories, as well as  students.

Ashot Matevosyan, Head of the scientific-educational laboratory, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, presented the  work done by the group, selection  of the topic, then gave the floor  to the speakers, who presented the monetary policy and IMF assessments of Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, then conducted  comparisons with Armenia.

Tatevik Azatyan, junior researcher, stated  that the purpose of the research group was to study the monetary policy of neighboring countries, including strategies, trends, macroeconomic indicators, and causal relations.
