Solemn opening ceremony of “Student autumn 2015” sports cultural festival

Today,  a  solemn opening  ceremony  of  “Student Autumn 2015”  sport cultural festival  was  held  in ASUE  gym,  which  was  attended  by  ASUE  Rector  Koryun Atoyan, Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory Rector Shahen Shahinyan, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan, RA NA deputy Karen Avagyan, Deans  of  the  Departments, representatives  of  Faculty, collaborators, students.

At  the  beginning of  the  ceremony  the  students entered  the  gym – 7 ASUE teams and the team of the Conservatory.  

Koryun Atoyan  congratulated  the  collaborators  and  students on  solemn opening ceremony  of  “Student Autumn 2015”  sport cultural festival, noting that our University forms new great traditions keeping the old ones.

ASUE rector especially greeted Conservatory students who are participating in the festival organized at our University.

Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan gave a speech, noting that such events have not been held in our country for a long time. RA NA deputy Karen Avagyan also welcomed the collaborators.

Welcoming the participants Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory Rector Shahen Shahinyan expressed his delight that the Conservatory students had the opportunity to participate in sports activities, since they are mostly seen on the Cultural Stages.

The  President  of the  SC Sergey Kachatryan was the last to talk. He mentioned two features for the festival of 2015. First - the shooting Championship was held for the first time and second - the festival also included students from the Conservatory.
