Seminar on civic education in Yeghegnadzor branch

A seminar on "Promoting initiatives in civic education in Vayots Dzor Marz", which was supported by the Alumni Association of the United States and local experts, took place on November 21-23 at ASUE Yeghegnadzor branch.

The director of the Branch Sos Khachikyan delivered an opening speech and mentioned that civic education was very relevant in terms of the formation of the state and consolidation of the principles of democracy.

Lectures were also delivered by the representative of the programs of US Embassy in Armenia Rinet Isadzhyan, UNICEF program manager for disaster reduction Tigran Tovmasyan, the representative of the Alumni Association of the United States, Karen Harutyunyan, Director of Yeghegnadzor branch of the National Institute of Education Haykuhi Barseghyan, chairman of the "Work and Motherland" organization Ruzan Ghazaryan.

The program is a long-term one and the materials are planned to be published.
