Second plenary session: constitutionality and innovation in the context of the economic development

Second plenary session of ASUE 25th Scientific Conference was coordinated by Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan. Two reports were made during this session. The first report on "The social and economic aspects of country`s constitutionality" was made by Professor Hayk Sargsyan, and the second one on "Basis for economic development: knowledge and innovation" was made by Gagik Vardanyan.

ASUE professors Samvel Avetisyan, Grigor Kirakosyan, Diana Galoyan and others came up with questions after the first report.

In his concluding remarks, Hayk Sargsyan stressed the importance of ASUE research performance in terms of economic development and called for closer cooperation.

The second reporter of the plenary session Gagik Vardanyan touched upon the differences of economic growth and economic development. The professor pointed to the connection between technological change and economic development, the transfer from material production to knowledge, etc.

Gagik Vardanyan answered the questions after the speech.

Koryun Atoyan, who noted that an interesting discussion was performed, concluded the plenary session.
