2nd round of seminars of “Amberd” research center has launched: Professor Melkumyan presented the interim results

At the suggestion of ASUE "Amberd" Research Center the RA Ministries have presented priority themes, which are currently carried out by “Amberd” researchers. 2nd round of seminars launched today. Professor Michael Melkumyan is the supervisor of the “The impact of SME development on poverty reduction in RA marzes” research group.

The seminar was attended by the director of "Amberd” Research Center Samvel Avetisyan, ASUE scientific staff, researchers and students. Welcoming the participants, Samvel Avetisyan gave the floor to assistant professor Arthur Arakelyan. He said that during the execution of the research team was in different marzes of RA, had meetings, made surveys. Arthur Arakelyan presented an overview of "Poverty in Armenia", spoke about the socio-economic situation of RA marzes (Shirak, Lori, and Syunik). Survey Results were also presented.

The next speaker was Professor Anahit Melkumyan, who talked about the new active programs implemented in RA labor market. The professor presented proposals for SME development in RA marzes.

After the reports the participants raised questions.
