Scientific Council discussed academic and organizational issues

A session of ASUE Scientific Council, chaired by ASUE Rector, Professor Koryun Atoyan, took place today at Conference Hall. Before proceeding to the approval of agenda, Rector informed the Scientific Council that ASUE received a 4-year term institutional accreditation. He congratulated his colleagues and thanked all those who actively supported this process, outlining the head of the Quality Assurance Division Nerses Gevorgyan, employees Gayane Merdinyan, Anna Pakhlyan, Margaret Marukyan.   

Afterwards ASUE Gyumri branch director Samson Davoyan came up with a report on "The organization of academic and research works in Gyumri branch". Samson Davoyan pointed out the organizational, academic, performance issues,
talked about academic staff, students and alumni, R & D and financial activities. After the report Samson Davoyan answered many questions and the Council decided that the branch’s work is sufficient.

According to the agenda, two other current issues were presented by Vice Rector on Education-Methodological Matters Paruyr Kalantaryan.  

The Council discussed and approved dissertation topics and scientific supervisors. The Council approved for publication the following research work manual - "Business Law" (Lyuba Mehrabyan), and a collection of conference materials devoted to the 7-th anniversary of ASUE Yeghegnadzor branch.

The Scientific Council also discussed one question off the agenda, which was presented by the vice rector on education organizational matters Mihrdat Harutyunyan.
