Open Lesson on the initiative of “Njdeh” club

An open lesson took place in ASUE auditorium of students-fighters for freedom on the eve of May 9. In was initiated by ASUE SC “Njdeh” club and was devoted to life and military activities of fallen soldier Arthur Karapetyan, who was a student of ASUE.

The chairman of “Njdeh” club Zaven Khukeyan welcomed the students and said that there was a section of students that was always present in the club's activities, which means that such events had already established audience.

During the first part of the event the students referred to Arthur Karapetyan’s life (1967-1991), presenting his biography. Friendly, knowledgeable and intelligent, patriotic ... the students characterized Arthur Karapetyan using a number of eminent merits. They pointed out that he was a national hero and a participant of Artsakh war.  In 1985, Arthur Karapetyan was admitted to the Yerevan Institute of National Economy and in 1989 he had left for the war in Artsakh. His last battle was in Getashen, which he organized and led with his friend Tatul Krpeyan.

The second part of the class referred to the victories of May 9, the liberation of Shushi, "Wedding in the Mountains" operation.
