"The Sunrise of Sea Van": a screening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.

The movie "The Sunrise of Sea Van" was shown today in ASUE great hall on Student Council`s Culture, Sport and Leisure Committee`s initiative. A member of Student Council Vigen Harutyunyan noted that movie screenings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide were being organized every Friday. He also summarized the plot of the film.

The film's main character 80-year-old Karapet, whose mother had survived the massacre in 1915, was trying to keep the memory of the lost homeland in generations. Only in this way, he could save his family of decay.

Note that the movie “Mayrik” and "The Forty Days of Musa Dagh" devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide had also been shown in ASUE great hall.
