ASUE students participated in international conference entitled "The Modern Problems of Economics": their reports have been published

ASUE post-graduate students Ani Hunanyan and Ani Avetisyan - members of "National Innovation System" scientific and educational group yesterday participated in international conference entitled "The Modern Problems of Economics" organized by YSU's Faculty of Economics and Management.  The reports of ASUE post-graduate students Ani Hunanyan and Ani Avetisyan, as well as PhD student Vardan Jangozyan, among the bests have been published in the collection of materials of the 3rd "The Modern Problems of Economics" international conference.

During the conversation with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division Ani Hunanyan noted that her report had been on "The problems of knowledge-based economy formation in RA" focused on the problems, obstacles and perspectives of science sphere and knowledge-based economy, legal issues of intellectual property. During the speech she also had presented the indicators of scientific and technological activity and made some recommendations. 

Ani Avetisyan`s report on "The problems of diversification of the economy on the high-tech basis" was devoted to the analysis of the role and significance of the high-tech and IT industry in economies. The reporter also showed that mentioned sector is the competitive advantage for RA economy diversification, pointed out the main indicators and export markets of IT and pharmaceutical industry.

The participants of the conference also stressed out the importance of inter-university cooperation, exchange of experience and the possibility of joint discussions. Ani Hunanyan mentioned that the participation in such events contributes to the development of student's research work skills.

ASUE students received certificates of participation.

The scientific supervisor of the students is associate professor Atom Margaryan.
