PRESENTATION OF “REALIZATION OF EXPORT POTENTIAL” RESEARCH GROUP

Today, a regular  seminar of  ASUE research  groups was  held at  ASUE  Conference  Hall: “Realization  of  export potential” research group,  which was  attended  by  Vice-rector  of  Science  and  International Relations Gagik Vardnadyan, lecturers  and  students.

Research  group  director is  acting  Head of  the  Chair  of  International Economic  Relations, Candidate  in Economics, Associate Professor Grigor  NAZARYAN, members  are Associate  Professor, Doctor  in Economics Davit HAKHVERDYAN, PhD student Arax  ABRAHAMYAN,  MA  students Tatevik VARDANYAN  and  Hermine KATVALYAN. The  research  topic is “Logistics  problems of realization of the  RA  export potential”.

Grigor  Nazaryan  briefly presented the  activity  of  research group, referred  to goals  and  objectives, keys  of  study, expected  results and  etc.

The  research group director  presented  the logistics environment  and  noted  that Armenia  is  the 92nd, and  Russia  is the 90th   with the logistics performance index, which proves that the problems in this environment are almost the same in two countries.

The next  reports  were  presented  by MA  students Tatevik Vardanyan  and  Hermine Katvalyan, referring to components  of logistics performance index in CIS  and the former Soviet Union  countries in 2014,  the RA export as well as import geographical structures (2007-2013), import, export in the RA GDP and foreign trade weights  and  etc.  Davit  Hakhverdyan  made  recommendation on the  topic.

Vice-rector  of  Science  and  International  Relations Gagik  Vardanyan made observations and considerations.

 Summarizing  the  seminar, the  Vice-rector  mentioned; “It’s  a great  opportunity for  both the lecturers  and  students  to  conduct  research  within the  framework  of  research  groups.   The questions  and  discussions  should  lead  to the  fact  to  create an experimental platform.  In general, scientific culture  should  be created in the result of  research  groups”.
