EVENTS DEDICATED TO THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF ASUE SC WERE CONCLUDED (photo album)
Jubilee events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of ASUE SC, which lasted about 3 months, were summarized yesterday in “Moscow” cinema by a solemn ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of the RA MES Armen Ashotyan, Coordinator of Board of Trustees Youth Foundation of Armenia , RA Member of Parliament Karen Avagyan, ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan, University Vice-rectors, representatives of Faculty, students, guests.
The even started by screening a video dedicated to ASUE SC, which refers to foundation, history, achievements, passed way of Student Council.
The former Presidents of ASUE SC, people dealing with SC activities told the foundation history.
Beloved and famous showman Samvel Grigoryan and actor Grigor Danielyan conducted the event. ASUE talented students performed ASUE hymn.
The Minister of the RA MES Armen Ashotyan mentioned that there are 2 Universities in the RA, which will always warmly host him: one is Armenian State University of Economics, the other Yerevan State Medical University. Noting, that ASUE is a close one to me, Armen Ashotyan outlined that he gained a lot of close friends here.
“I would like to congratulate my native students of my native University on behalf of me and the RA Prime Minister, ASUE Council Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan, who was not able to attend the event, but sent his best wishes to all the students and the University”; mentioned the Minister.
Speaking about the students’ organizational skills Armen Ashotyan mentioned that Economic University has passed and passes through a difficult but very good way, the driving force of which is the students. It is difficult to imagine any serious initiative in the University without students’ participation”; said the Minister and added that it is impossible to imagine a student movement without students.
During the event the winner of “The Best Student” content became known. Armen Ashotyan announced the name of the student: the 3rd year student of State and Municipal Management Annie Karapetyan, and handed the award: tablet and a trip to Europe.
ASUE Rector, Professor Koryun Atoyan congratulated the participants referring to history, passed way, achievements of the University self-government body. The whole speech is presented HERE (Armenian version).
Student Council awarded the former Presidents of SC Sevak Khachatryan, Armen Alexanyan, Abram Bakhchagulyan, Arthur Gyulazyan, Markos Shirinyan gold medals.
The second part of the event was a concert by participation of Armenian
famous singers: Grigor Kyokchyan, Narek Baveyan, Arsen Grigoryan and others. The students were dancing, hugging, congratulating each other on the 20th anniversary of Student Council of Native University.
