INTELECTUAL GAME WITHIN FRAMEWORK OF PROGRAM ENTITLED “AHEAD THE 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE”
Yesterday, on November 24, intellectual competition was held in Church of Holy Trinity within the framework of program entitled “Ahead the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide”, which was initiated by youth structures of Araratian Patriarchal Diocese. ASUE team “Index PRO” also participated in it, won and was awarded with the cup and certificates.
17 teams from Armenian Universities and various organizations participated in the competition.
The senior of “Index PRO” team Harutyun Arzumanyan told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that our team had shown good results: 19 correct answers to 24 questions.
“The questions were mostly logical ones. I would like to mention that participation in such kind of measures is very important, as the students should be aware of the history of his/her nation”; mentioned the senior of the team.
Harutyun Arzumanyan assured that first of all we should be aware of our history, then to call the World to recognize the Armenian Genocide. He advised the youth to read more and to gain more knowledge.
The organizers of the measure announced that it aimed to inform the youth about documents, international legal acts regarding the Armenian Genocide and to findout the level of awareness among the youth.
