OUR STUDENTS AS WINNERS OF POWERLIFTING
On November 15, 2014, championship for the cup of the RA honored coach of Powerlifting Federation in Armenia Razmik Ayvazyan was held at the gym of SEUA, which wasn’t only attended, but also won by our students: the 2nd year student of the Department of Management Narek Madatyan got the 1st prize and the 3rd year student of the Department of Finance Henrik Galstyan got the 2nd one. Lecturer of the Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense Arman Gulyan is the coach of the boys.
Our students competed in different weight classes.
In the interview with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division Narek Madatyan mentioned that he started to deal with this sport at our University, and participated in this championship with great enthusiasm and won.
The coach Arman Gulyan mentioned that this was an experimental competition, but the boys showed great results. “It is difficult to achieve victory, but it is more difficult to maintain it. The boys should strengthen the great achievement with new victories, and for it they need persistent and consistent trainings”; mentioned the coach.
