“MegaEconomics” Topic by Hrant Bagratyan’s Presentation
Today, Hrant Bagratyan, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, delivered a lecture on “MegaEconomics” for Bachelor’s, Master’s degree and PhD students of international economic relations. The lecture was attended by Gagik Vardanyan, Vice Rector of Science and International Relations, Doctor of Science, Professor, Grigor Nazaryan, Dean of the Department of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Relations, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Diana Galoyan, the Chair of IER, Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor, Zoya Tadevosyan, Doctor of Sciences, Professor. The speaker touched upon two key aspects of the global system development: institutionalism and structural changes, highlighted the main trends in global social development, economic growth rates, demographic changes, birth rate, and education development.
In general, a number of issues related to the development of societies, religions, traditions, financial systems, crypto-currencies and other issues were touched upon. After the end of the lecture, the speaker was asked a number of questions and a heated debate was held.
At the end of the lecture Gagik Vardanyan thanked the speaker, highlighting the necessity of conducting such lectures and events, highlighted the study of MegaEconomics for ASUE students and expressed hope for further cooperation.
