KORYUN ATOYAN MET THE WINNERS OF INTERUNIVERSITY DEBATE TOURNAMENT
Today, ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan met the members of ASUE winning team of interuniversity debate tournament organized by the RA Central Bank within the framework of “My Finance Month” project, and the Vice-rector on Students and Alumni Affairs, Sevak Khachatryan, the President of Student Council, Sergey Kharatyan.
The tournament aims to help young people to gain more knowledge on various topics of finance.
The team of Armenian State University of Economics was selected by the presidency of Student Council: the 3rd year student of the Department of Management, Annie Karapetyan (senior of the team), PhDs Harutyun Arzumanyan, Hayk Bejanyan, Grisha Amirkhanyan.
The senior of the team presented the essence of the tournament, goals, and duration of it, noting that ASUE team had competed with teams of 6 Universities and as a result has won. And a member of a team, PhD, Harutyun Arzumanyan has won in the nomination “The Best Orator”. The President of ASUE Student Council, Seregey Khratyan introduced the team members and the Vice-Rector Sevak Khachatryan expressed hope that the PhDs, included in the team, who would become lecturers, would be distinguished by their knowledge.
ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan congratulated ASUE team on behalf of the University Faculty, Administrative staff and students, then added that the victory of ASUE students was inspiring.
“Our students success is gratifying and inspiring for us. The University is not only a place to gain knowledge, the person is educated and mastered comprehensively here, which is a reliable guarantee for the future of our country. We are glad to see that our University success is being specified in different places and by different people, which means that the reputation of our University is high”; said Koryun Atoyan.
Note, that the member of Central Bank Board Armenak Darbinyan awarded certificates and “Sardarapat” silver medals of the Central Bank to our team members.
