REGULAR SESSION OF RECTORATE BOARD
Today, regular session of Rectorate Board was held at ASUE Conference Hall. Vice-rector of Educational Matters, Mihrdat Harutyunyan presented the decree on students rotation established by ASUE Mandates commission /2014-2015 academic year based on 2013-2014 one/.
The Vice-rector mentioned that on the beginning of September the Mandates commission had conducted a session and discussed the lists submitted by Deans. In the result of which it’s decided to rotate 49 students of full-time Bachelor Degree and 25 ones of full-time Master Degree. Rectorate Board approved the Commission’s decree.
Then the Deans reported on results of exams of the 2nd semester of the 2013-2014 academic year, presented the number of students subject to disposal and transferred to next year.
Current issues were also discussed.
Rector Koryun Atoyan’s demand to Deans to make recommendations aimed at improving the quality of education is in process: a number of suggestions have been discussed and summarized.
The Head of the University suggested to discuss the recommendations with all concerned sub-divisions, to present new recommendations or new approaches on the current recommendations. Vice-rector of Methodological Matters Paruir Kalantaryan announced that on first week of October a session of Scientific Board would be conducted.
