MASTER CLASSES BY RUSSIAN EXPERTS ARE GOING ON

A three-day-master class conducted  by Russian  experts  is  going  on at  Armenian State  University  of  Economics.

Today, a regular lecture was  conducted at ASUE Center for International Programs  by a  lecturer  of  Moscow  State  Institute  of  International Relations, politician, analyst  of  “Foreign Policy” portal,   candidate  of  political science,  Andrey Sushentsov.  The  topic  was “The Crisis in Ukraine and Russia’s Foreign Policy”.

The  master class  was  attended  by staff  of  “AMBERD”  Research  Center  headed  by  Director, Doctor  of  Economics, Professor,  Samvel  Avetisyan, young  lecturers,  collaborators,  students, PhDs.

First, the  speaker presented the  activity  of  his University (the  above  mentioned),  then  referring to the  topic mentioned  that it’s  urgent  and  many  were  interested  in it. They  referred  to  roots  of the Ukrainian crisis, its characteristic features,  they  spoke  about main directions  and priorities of Russian  Foreign Policy. In this  context,  the  expert presented by  slide  show  the issues regarding foreign military and internal security, military dangers and threats, etc.

After  the  lecture  the  speaker answered the  questions  raised  by  students, discussion was  conducted  on the  topic, a  debate  was held.

Note, that students  were  greatly  active: Bachelor’s  and  Master’s Degree  students attended the lectures.

Tomorrow,  at 13:00.  a  three-day-master class  will  be  over.   Igor Nikolaychuk will  conduct  a lecture  entitled

“Modern Geopolitics of Transcaucasus: View from Russia”.
