Sport-cultural Life is Important in the Daily Life of the University: ASUE Rector on “Student Autumn – 2017” Start (photos)

The most colorful event of student entertainment has started: today ASUE “Student Autumn 2017” sport-cultural festival has  started  by chess  championship. The  annual festival is  held by ASUE  Student Council’s initiative supported  by Youth Foundation of Armenia  and  the University Leadership. Chess  championship is  going on and  the results  will be summed  up  later.

Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector,  Sevak Khachatryan, Vice Rector  of Students  and  Alumni Affairs, Tatul Mkrtchyan, Dean of the Department of  Marketing and  Business Organization, Hovhannes Gabrielyan, acting  Chair  of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, Hovhannes  Harutyunyan, SC President, came to congratulate the  start  of the  festival  and to welcome the participants.

Koryun Atoyan  noted  that sport-cultural life is unprecedented in the University daily life, which makes the students’ day more interesting. And from this point of view, the Head of the University is always ready to encourage such initiatives. “As University Rector, I am always with students and support such initiatives because I emphasize not only the quality of education, but also the multifaceted human development "; stated  Koryun Atoyan.

7 sport championships,  KVN, song, dance and intellectual competitions will be conducted within the frames of  the  festival.

Hovhannes  Harutyunyan   noted  that a team of  ASUE Financial  and  Economic College  also  participates  in   the  festival  this  year.

So, 7 teams will compete for the title of winner in the sport-cultural competition from November 14 to December 15.

Note, that  the  Chair  of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense  actively supports sport events.

The  solemn opening  ceremony  of  the  festival is  planned  to  hold  on November 20.
