NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES UNDER PROFESSIONAL OBSERVATION: NEW PUBLICATION BY VARDAN ATOYAN

A  book  entitled  “National Security Issues” (lectures) (Yerevan, “Economist” Publishing house, 2014, 154p.)  authored by Director  of “National  Security Researches”  program of  “AMBERD”  Research  Center  was  published  by recommendation  of  Scientific Board, Armenian State  University  of  Economics, and review  of   Director  of  “AMBERD”  Research  Center, Samvel  Avetisyan,  and  Head  of the  Chair  of  History and Political Science, Armenian State  Engineering  University, Candidate  in Political Science, Associate  Professor, Sirak Hovhannisyan.

Lectures are devoted to main issues, concepts, components, fields and provision mechanisms of national security. Some issues regarding the participation format and activities of think tanks in the sphere of national security provision are discussed, also security provision issues in the context of world economy globalization. Meanwhile, specifications of network society and global information system, issues of providing information security and manipulation technologies are discussed. Military and regional security issues of the State are particularly emphasized.

The lectures are intended for students, lecturers and specialists interested in Political Science and National Security issues.
