DISCUSSION OF DISSERTATION AT THE CHAIR OF ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS

Today, discussion of  PhD  Tigran Sahakyan’s thesis  on “Ecological  and  Economic  Problems  of the Transition to  Sustainable  Economic Development in the  RA”  was  held  at  the  Chair  of Environmental  Economics. Gagik  Vardanyan, Vice-rector of  Science  and  International  Relations at ASUE, Doctor  of  Economics, Professor, attended the  discussion. 

In the  interview  with ASUE  Media  and Public Relations Division  the  Vice-rector  said; “Results  of preliminary examination  of  thesis are undergone deep and comprehensive discussion, and the performed  suggestions and observations will  help the  speaker  to make the work more perfect”.                         

Suren Gevorgyan,  Head of  the  Chair  ofEnvironmental  Economics,  Doctor  of  Economics, Professor,  informed  the participants, the PhD students  of  the  Chair,  that the  format  of preliminary examination  of  thesis wasn’t  new,  but was not always preserved; “This  a  way  to  improve the  quality  of  thesis,  to  raise defects  and  to  make  suggestions, in order  to  help the  speaker to  develop and  improve the work,  and  present  it to  Professional  Council”.

The  author  presented the main provisions of the dissertation,  questions   were  raised, reviewers  spoke,  discussion  was  held.
