OLYMPIAD OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE WAS HELD AT ASUE FOR THE 1ST TIME
University Olympiad was held today by initiative of the Chair of Armenian and Russian Languages at ASUE for the 1st time, which was attended by students from different Departments. The Olympiad was titled “We Study the Russian Language” ( «Мы изучаем русский язык»). Mary Zakaryan, Head of the mentioned Chair, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, acclaimed the beginning of the Olympiad, welcoming the participant students and encouraging them. Lecturers of the Russian Language watched the duration of the Olympiad. The students had 90 minutes to perform the tasks.
In the interview with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division Mari Zakaryan mentioned if the results would be satisfactory and effective the Olympiad would be held in coming years.
“The goal is to encourage intelligent students, those who get high marks will be encouraged”; said the Professor.
The results will be known on Monday.
