SERIAL PRESENTATION AT “AMBERD” RESEARCH CENTER

Serial  presentation  of  research, entitled “Marketing  Research  of  the  RA Food  Commodity  Markets”, conducted  by  Master Degree  Program  students, was  held  at  ASUE “AMBERD” Research Center  today. The 1st  stage  results  of the  research  were  presented.  The  staff of the  Center,  headed  by Samvel  Avetisyan,   attended  the presentation.  Armen Grigoryan, Director  of National Competitiveness and Internationalization of Research” Program  of  “AMBERD”  Research  Center, Candidate  in Economics, Associate  Professor, was  the  Director  of  the  researchers’  team.   

Master  Degree students  Inesa  Voskanyan, Hakob Baghdasaryan, Yelena  Davtyan, Armine  Temuryan, Varduhi  Hartenyan, Tamara Harutyunyan made  reports.

The team  Director  mentioned  at  the beginning  of  the  meeting  that  the researchers  had  conducted  a  number  of  analysis.  Especially, the consumer spending volume, composition and structure  in the  RA  were  presented,  the  results  of  which  were compared  with the  World average statistical indicators, as well as CIS and other countries,  having   different development  levels. 

Then  they  mentioned  that the  team  had  conducted analysis of   commodity markets, their  structure,  capacity,  market serving entities, as well as national  product-import  ratio in the  market,  which is  based  on mainly State  official information.  On the  other  hand,  the  team  had  already  finished the  assessment  process  of   external non-marketing factors’ influence  on  consumer behavior.

They  spoke  about consumer volume of Food , as well as  Non-Food  Commodity  (hygiene market) in  the  RA, presented   preferences of the Armenia consumers, the  influence  of social-economic, culture  and  others  factors  on Armenian    consumer’s  behavior  

After  the  reports’ presentation a  number  of questions  were  raised:  Samvel Avetisyan  made  remarks, at  the  same  time highly evaluated the  detailed research  conducted  by   students.
