TITLE OF HONORED WORKER OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT IS AWARDED TO ASUE LECTURER HAKOB KYOKCHYAN
Title of honored worker of physical culture and sport is awarded to Hakob Kyokchyan, lecturer at the Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense, by the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Khachik Asryan, Deputy Minister, awarded gold medal and brevet to ASUE lecturer on May 8.
ASUE Media and Public Relations Division spoke with Hakob Kyokchyan on this occasion. He highlighted devotion to pedagogical work and said that work with young people was very responsible one.
“It’s already 30 years I work at Armenian State University of Economics. The experience acquired during pedagogical activity allows me to say that teaching young generation is both responsible work and interesting one”; mentioned the lecturer and added that, unfortunately, today’s youth didn’t highlight the consciousness of physical training and healthy lifestyle.
“We constantly try to raise an understanding that physical training and sport are integral part of human life, indispensable tool for healthy living. I am glad to say that the consciousness is growing especially for girls. I am for “Healthy body, healthy soul””; outlined honored worker of physical culture and sport.
As for working at University of Economics for many years, Hakob Kyokchyan mentioned that the University was his 2nd home, his family, he could not imagine another place to work.
“When I came to work at ASUE, I had just graduated from Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, I was young and enthusiastic. Initially I worked on the principle, that if you work, you should to do your best and love it. Honesty is the basis for effective work”.
