ASUE REPRESENTATIVES VISITED SCHOOLS

A group  of  ASUE representatives went to Armavir region  early in the morning today: to conduct  regular meeting  with pupils of high schools (N1 high school in Armavir  and N 10 high school in Vagharshapat)  within the framework of cooperation with schools project. Lusine  Karagulyan, lecturer  at the  Chair of Foreign Languages, Director of the mentioned project, Tigran Manukyan, Assistant Professor at the  Chair of   Managerial Accounting and Auditing, Mushegh Hakobyan, Associate Professor at the  Chair  of Theory of Economics, Sevak Khachatryan,  Chairman of Student Council,   and  a group of students presented ASUE at the  mentioned  schools, answered the pupils’ questions.          

The meeting, particularly,  was conducted  with the pupils studying in economics stream. The  representatives  of our  University provided the pupils information catalogues  about the University, Student Council, gifted  them professional books published  by the Chairs, University’s official magazine “Tntesaget”. The  students presented the University: Departments, specialties, official web site, the University  yard, by slide show.

Lusine  Karagulyan informed ASUE  Media  and Public Relations Division that the  pupils were interested in  our  University,   many  of  them  had  already orientated to study  in Armenian State University of Economics.

“ASUE cooperates with Armenian 12 high  and  secondary schools, as well as    several colleges.  The meetings  mainly  aimed to raise awareness among  the  pupils who  want to study  economics.   Note, that steps are  being undertaken to  help socially  vulnerable pupils (several projects  have  already  been  carried  out)”; said Lusine Karagulyan, outlining that the pupils  were  excited.

The project  Director mentioned  that the visits would be continued. Pupils of the mentioned schools  will  visit ASUE  soon.   Lusine  Karagulyan  thanked the University  Administration, especially   Koryun Atoyan,   for  help  and  support.
