REPRESENTATIVES OF THE RF HSE NATIONAL RESEARCH UNIVERSITY VISITED ASUE “AMBERD” RESEARCH CENTER

Tatyana Chetvernina, Director  of the  RF HSE National  Research University (НИУ ВШЭ),  and Nona Mirzakhanyan,  the  coordinator  of Armenian  projects  of  the  same institute, were  hosted  at ASUE “AMBERD” Research Center yesterday.  The  visit  aimed  to get  acquainted  with the Research  Center’s  activities. The  meeting  was  attended by Gagik Vardanyan, Vice-Rector  of  Science  and  International  Relations, Vard Ghukasyan, Head of Foreign  Relations  Division, Samvel Avetisyan,  Director of ASUE “AMBERD” Research  Center.

Gagik Vardanyan welcomed  the guests, then congratulated  the  colleagues on April 7.

At the  beginning of  the  meeting  they  spoke  about the  Olympiad held  at  ASUE (http://www.asue.am/en/pages-220//օլիմպիադա-հպտհ-ում-տնտեսագիտական-կրթության-նոր-հեռանկարներ-1432).

Samvel Avetisyan presents by slides the  history  of  ASUE “AMBERD” Research  Center (2013, by  decree of  ASUE Scientific  Board’s session), then the  Center’s  activity, research directions, publications, coming terms  and projects,  noting  that ASUE is  the only University in Armenia which allocates money  for  research  projects  from its  budget. The  Director  of  the  Center  outlines that a group  of Master’s  Degree Program  students  is  greatly interested  in it and they  conduct research  work with great enthusiasm. Samvel  Avetisyan  gave information brochures of  “AMBERD” (Russian).

Tatyana Chetvernina  wondered about  Center’s  activity   and  got  answers  to  her  questions. Cooperation  challenges were  discussed.
