SPORT AND CULTURAL EVENT BY ASUE PROFESSOR’S INITIATIVE

Sport  and  cultural event  entitled “Sport and Fair Game” was  organized  at  the gym of Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture by  initiative  of Lyova Samvelyan, a  lecturer at  the  Chair  of  Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense  at  ASUE, Candidate  of  Pedagogic, Professor,   and by support  of the  mentioned Institute.

Literary works (poems), which are related to sport and physical education  were  presented  during the measure. In the  interview  with  ASUE  Media  and Public  Relations  Division Lyova  Samvelyan informed  that  the  participants  were  greatly  interested  in the  measure: representatives of  the  Chair  of    Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense  at  ASUE, Administration of  Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture,  faculty  staff  and students  attended  the  measure.

Lyova  Samvelyan mentioned  that  the measure aimed first of all  to  appreciate the role  of  sport, then strengthening communication  of sport  and  culture and inter-university cooperation.

“Developing physical and  mental abilities is  very  important  for  human. It  contributes to the enrichment of a person's inner world.  I  have emphasized the concept of  fair game in  my poems, which refers  to  both  the sport  and  life phenomena”; mentioned the  Professor.

Samvelyan’s  handicrafts  made  of  tree  branches  and  roots compositions,  artistic  performances  were  presented  during the event.
